A delegation of Turkmen business circles will visit the capital of the UK from May 9 to 16, 2026. The visit will be made possible by an official invitation from the West London Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This was reported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, emphasizing the importance of the upcoming mission for strengthening foreign economic ties. The main program of the Turkmen entrepreneurs' visit to London will focus on finding new points of contact and establishing direct dialogue with their British counterparts. Strategically important sectors such as textiles, agriculture, construction, education and tourism will be the focus of the discussions. Furthermore, attracting foreign direct investment into the Turkmen economy and implementing joint high-tech projects will be a key topic of discussion. The development of partnership between the two countries will rest on a solid foundation of growing economic indicators. According to statistics, the volume of mutual trade between Turkmenistan and the United Kingdom reached £102 million between September 2024 and September 2025. The upcoming business mission to London will be intended not only to consolidate these achievements but also to open up new opportunities for diversifying Turkmen exports to European markets.
