The Turkmen company “Yigit” has already secured its first concrete outcomes on the second day of its business mission to the UK, having held negotiations with several of Britain's leading retailers, including Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Lidl, Aldi, and Sainsbury's.
In the course of these meetings, representatives of Yigit engaged with procurement officers and importers to discuss prospects for supplying Turkmen products to the British market, the requirements of international retailers, and the potential for establishing long-term cooperation. The negotiations resulted in preliminary agreements, which are currently undergoing detailed elaboration.
Other participants in the mission likewise reported favourable outcomes. The company “Takyk Abzal” signed MoUs on cooperation with Somer Industrial Projects, a British enterprise operating in the oil and gas sector, and the Chartered Institute of Professional Certifications.
Another Turkmen company, “ALSAT”, concluded MoUs on cooperation with the London branch of the Singaporean venture capital fund BTFV and with the Croatian firm Consulio.
Taken together, the agreements and the new business contacts constitute a significant step towards expanding the international presence of Turkmen companies and consolidating their position in foreign markets.
